For the second time in her career, Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina has reached the Wimbledon semifinals, this time after defeating the world’s number one, Iga Świątek.

Details: Svitolina won in three sets: 7-5, 6-7(5), 6-2.
The key game in the first set was the game on Świątek’s serve, when the Pole was losing 5-6. Svitolina reached the set point after four points and clinched the decisive break.
Świątek and Svitolina continued to battle it out throughout the second set. In the tiebreaker, Svitolina had a three-point advantage, but Świątek ended up taking the second set.
Svitolina was leading in the third set from the start. After six games, she led 5-1, with two breaks to spare.
Svitolina served at 5-2 and won three match points, defeating Świątek on the second one and securing a place in the semi-finals of a major grass-court tournament.
