Ukrainians have raised over UAH 100 million for a drone army through Diya. Another UAH 6 million was donated through Air Alert app.
It was reported by Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, on summarizing the events of the current week.
The government has approved a fast-track for drones. This will speed up the import of drones and their components to Ukraine as much as possible. No more bureaucracy. This decision is part of the plan to strengthen the army on the technological front,” he said.
“The Army of Drones continues to provide our military with the best drones. Almost 1900 birds have already been contracted for UAH 3.7 billion. Last week, two powerful Ukrainian Raybird-3 systems were delivered to the frontline. They cover 2.5 thousand kilometers and operate despite the electronic warfare. Ukrainians have raised more than UAH 100 million for the drone army through Diya. Another UAH 6 million was donated through the Air Alert app. United24’s star ambassador Mark Hamill also continues to raise money for drones,” emphasized Fedorov.
He also reminded that Diya.City has celebrated its one-year anniversary. According to him, the platform has 451 residents, more than 35 thousand specialists, and has generated UAH 4 billion in taxes paid.
The minister also said that 350 villages are going to get 4G, and the CNN channel will be available on Diya.TV.
